Wet morning
I knew the flowers and foliage would look nice yesterday morning following a rainy night. I made some closeup images of Rhododendron blossoms, Comfrey flowers and a leaf, a lily leaf, and a Lupine just starting to open.

Rockport Sunday
This isn't the same Rockport that Tom Rush's song was written about. Sunday morning I took a little walk to the harbor in Rockport, Maine. The weather was cool and drizzly, but the light was nice for the colors and textures of the harbor and adjacent neighborhood.

Wagon Hill Winter
Last week, my friend Randall and I took a hike around Wagon Hill Farm in Durham to see if we could find some interesting scenes to photograph. We did see at least twenty-three swans, but most of them were floating too far from shore to photograph. We got fairly close to the two I have photos of. I enjoyed photographing the details of ice and snow textures, grasses and rock, seaweed and water, and sparkly reflections of sunshine.

Harvard Square cemetery
A couple of weeks ago we were walking around Harvard Square, and came across this cemetery filled with old gravestones, some dating to the late 1600s. Most of them are in quite good shape, and are much more decorative than anything current.
Snowshoeing on the Barrington Trail
Sunday we took a little snowshoe hike on the Barrington Trail, along the Isinglass River. There are some of the scenes we encountered.
