Yesterday we took a hike on Little Blue Job Mountain in Strafford and Farmington, NH. The summit is mostly open, permitting a panoramic view including Mt. Washington and the seacoast. The most interesting feature, to me, is the meandering stone wall, known as a lace wall. The stones are stacked diagonally, rather than horizontally. I have read that there are similar walls on Martha's Vineyard. I'd like to go see.
