Rollinsford images

Here are a few images of the little town where my studio is located. Seven Chimneys II is a view of the rooftops of some of the historic mill housing; the Black Bean is a favorite eatery of residents and those of us with businesses in the old mills; and Main Street is a view of the eastern end of Main Street, and the Town Hall.

First snow of spring

We in the northeast are anxious to see grass, leaves, and flowers, but it is still nice to have a little fresh snow to hide the brown melting slush. Here are a few snowy images of the Salmon Falls River between Rollinsford, NH, and South Berwick, ME.

MicroCredit NH Entrepreneurial Exchange 2008

I attended the MicroCredit Entrepreneurial Exchange in Plymouth, NH, on March 12. The theme of the program was increasing business through the use of social networking. Consequently, I plan to do more of that! I will be posting more images here, as well as joining My Space, Facebook, and whatever else looks good. I also plan to publish an e-newsletter, hopefully beginning in April. So check back often to see what's new!

Art

I had the opportunity to photograph some of the work of an inspiring artist, Edouard Langlois, who works near me in Rollinsford, NH. These pieces are Saint-Jean le Baptiste, and La Maison de Lydia.

Abandoned

Today is a lovely snow day in New Hampshire, so I'm trying to make up for not posting for a while. This image was created on a cold spring day as a Cape Cod beach migrated across a parking lot, surrounding sneakers forgotten in a warmer season.

Gesture

Last year Hope and I created some photographs on railroad tracks and in an old cemetery in Bowdoinham, Maine. This is one of my favorites from that session.
