Abandoned

Today is a lovely snow day in New Hampshire, so I'm trying to make up for not posting for a while. This image was created on a cold spring day as a Cape Cod beach migrated across a parking lot, surrounding sneakers forgotten in a warmer season.

Last year Hope and I created some photographs on railroad tracks and in an old cemetery in Bowdoinham, Maine. This is one of my favorites from that session.

Hope

Hope is a wonderful model I have been photographing annually for about five years. She is a dancer, choreographer, musician, and teacher of dance and several musical instruments. It is always interesting to see what kinds of images our collaboration will produce.
