Boothbay Harbor, Maine

These are scenes from Boothbay Harbor and East Boothbay, Maine. In the harbor, there are a lot of hotels and restaurants at the edge of the water or overhanging the water, but with some care it is possible to capture images that feature the more scenic elements of the town, such as the water, rocks, sky, and boats. Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay have an impressive array of beautiful flowers, but I was most impressed with the remarkable landscaping, incorporating plantings, rocks, water, and sculptures. There is even a village of fairy houses constructed of native materials by visitors. It is worth the trip to Boothbay to see this place.
