Ice storm

We had a snow and ice storm Saturday and Sunday. After cleaning up the driveway, I wandered around the yard photographing the trees, weeds, and bushes that were coated with ice. Even the most commonplace weeds were turned into beautiful sculptures by the ice.

Deerfield scenes

Nearly every year we attend the Deerfield Arts Tour, and visit at least a few of the open studios. We love to hike on the property of potter Al Jaeger, which includes ponds, stone walls, Al's sculptures, gardens, and beautiful natural scenes. These photos are from our walk last Saturday.
